2nd International Housing First Conference

The second International Housing Conference is taking place in UL on the 7th, 8th and 9th of July. Housing First is an international model of accommodation provision for formerly homeless individuals, with very successful outcomes.

The three day event will be held at the University of Limerick with international speakers presetting their experiences of the model from throughout the world. Keynote speaker, Dr. Sam Tsemberis, is the founder of the original Housing First Model, Pathways to Home, in New York, which transformed the lives of homeless people in the city.

Novas’ Head of Services, Anne Cronin and Manager of the Housing First programme, Aoife Boyle, will be presenting on Novas’ pilot programme in Limerick and its endeavour to end long-term homelessness in the city.
