International Women’s Day
We would like to wish all our female clients, staff and volunteers a very happy International Women’s Day. Internationally more women experience homelessness than men. Last year there was an increase of 28% of the number of women seeking emergency accommodation throughout Ireland.
In 2016, Novas supported more than 1,000 women through a range of services including our family service, our Respite House and our temporary accommodation. Novas works hard to develop bespoke services for the women in its services by supporting them with their Housing, Health and Recovery and creating sustainable pathways from homelessness.
