This is a twenty-two bed facility for homeless women in Dublin city. These clients have been living on the streets for many years and have problems accessing other existing services in the city due to their chaotic nature stemming from their addictions and at-risk behaviour. This service, after over two years in operation, is considered very successful in terms of providing alternative options for these women to improve their quality of life.
This project has pioneered the new holistic needs assessment sponsored by the H.S.E. We have decided to introduce this assessment method as part of the care and support plan in all schemes across the country.
