In Limerick, NOVAS operates an out-of-hours Freephone number 1800 606060, which can be contacted in emergency.
In partnership with the Limerick Homeless Action Team we have extended our services throughout the city. Our Temporary Emergency Provision (TEP), which normally opens from 9am to 9pm, will open from 5pm until 12pm from this evening until Friday. We are also endeavouring to open the service all day on Friday and all day on Saturday.
McGarry House and Brother Russell House, which are 24/7 services in the city, will take additional clients that cannot access our emergency accommodation in the city.
In Kerry, NOVAS have a cold weather arrangement with the Homeless Information Centre people can contact NOVAS’ Arlington Lodge out-of-hours on 066 7193800 if they are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Emergency placements will be made available if necessary.
We endeavour to ensure, with our partners, that everyone is accommodated during this very cold snap.
