Staff development and wellbeing is a central component of our strategic plan 2017-2021. NOVAS recognises that its staff are its most important asset and vital in the consistent delivery of good standards and quality within all functions of the organisation. As part of this process we will be carrying out the Work-Positive Well Being at Work Survey which is an independent survey developed by Employee Wellbeing Ltd in partnership with the Health and Safety Authority.
The Work Positive Profile is an easy-to-use online survey tool that provides feedback on the health and wellbeing of your workforce. The questions are simple and straightforward, yet have proven to be valid and reliable and can help organisations detect potential stress hot spots in the working environment. The Work Positive Profile uses verified and validated indicators to measure employee wellbeing and the risk of workplace stress. The aim is to assess where your organization is performing in relation to current good practice. You then set realistic goals to prioritise areas for growth and improve current performance.
Forming part of the Health and Safety Authority’s Work Positive approach, the Work Positive Profile is a key tool within an organisations health and wellbeing strategy. The Work-positive covers the six key areas that organisations should monitor and manage to help keep work-related stress at bay while employee wellbeing is measured by using the World Health Organisations WHO-Five Wellbeing Index (WHO-5)
The Survey whose brand name is “NOVAS: Working Well Together” is due to be rolled out in April and will remain open for 3 weeks. The survey takes approx. 10-15 minutes to complete and employees and employers are guaranteed complete confidentiality. The Work Positive Profile (WPP) is also the official survey instrument that accompanies Ireland’s national policy initiative to control work-related stress.
