Some volunteering opportunities

Street Outreach (Soup Run):

Novas’ Street Outreach programme operates seven nights a week, providing a hot meal, a kind word and support to marginalised people on the streets of Limerick City. Those availing of the service are among the most vulnerable in society. The programme is provided on a voluntary basis and currently a team of 50 volunteers assist with it. New applicants will receive training and support throughout their volunteering term. Apply Here.

Foodcloud Driver:
Novas is very fortunate to be part of the Foodcloud Programme – www.foodcloud.ie. Each evening we benefit from donations of unsold food at various Tesco’s around the country. These donations are collected by a team of volunteers and dropped to a designated service. This team are also called upon from time to time to carry out ad hoc driving requirements. Applicants for this role must have a full clean driving licence and be over 25 years of age. Apply Here.
